Drugs and Collateral Damage (Revisited)

Collateral Damage

Collateral Damage is the term usually used and associated with the unintended side-effects such as injuries and deaths to persons and or destruction to structures caused by some targeted military action. And though this is not a term used in the pharmaceutical world there is apparently the same type of thought process going on and actually applied with the exception to destructruction of structures.

It is understood that there is risk involved in whatever we do. The baby learning to walk learns that there is the risk of falling. The child who begins to ride a bike realizes this as well. Explorers, builders, attorneys, doctors, scientist, artists, competitors even the common everyday person weighs the benefits versus the risks. And unless we as an individual or a group are truly reckless ( and even here benefits versus the risks are being weighed) we usually try to minimize that risk. The term “risk assessment” is probably the more common phrase associatd with determining what side-effects ( collateral damage ) may ensue.

Take the just publicized court case of Karen Bartlett, 53 years old.

20131216-121215.jpg

A generic drug that she was taking for something as innocuous as SHOULDER PAIN severly blinded and burned her body. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled against her. The ruling came down against her in a 5 to 4 decision favoring the pharmaceutical company’s appeal reversing the lower courts decision that was in her favor. The Supreme Court’s ruling decision came down to this. Patients cannot sue over defective drug design because companies that produce the generic drugs are required by law to copy their brand name’s counterpart to that drug! Does this make you as angry as I am? Collateral damage, baby.

The majority of drugs on the market have a range of effectiveness of between 25 and 60 percent! Such an extremely wide variance. Can you imagine that variance in building a home, car, military equipment etc.? Not only would the stuff probably not work but none of us would tolerate it. Yet, we do tolerate it for our bodies by our dollars when it comes to pill popping. According to Grant R. Wilkinson, Ph.D., D.Sc and his study published in The New England Journal of Medicine 2005, there are more than 2 million adverse drug reactions that happen each year along with 100,000 deaths. How many of you are aware of these facts? Are you paying attention and taking action based on this information. Is this “collateral damage” acceptable? It must be because we the public are buying this hook, line and sinker! The pharmaceuticals profits continue to20131205-074526.jpg soar because we continue to pay for these inadequate drugs.

It is injuries like or worse than Karen Bartlett’s that is forcing many of us in the western world to seek alternative approaches to helping our bodies do a better job of maintaining themselves or getting relief from discomfort by a much more natural approach. Of course the foundation to helping our bodies is healthy eating. Without it we usually will be minimizing the positive effects that acupuncture, chiropractic, ayurveda, aromatherapy and even Cieaura’s holographic chips can have on us.

Collateral Damage and or Risk Assessment is not an issue with Cieaura’s Holographic Chips. Why? Because each holographic chip is non-transdermal ( nothing enters the body and no drugs are involved ) and therefore there are no side-effects. Whether it is the Pure Relief for the discomfort of pain, the Sinus/Allergy chip for you guessed it, sinus/allergy, the Enhance for libido, hot flashes or a better balance of hormones, and the Pure Energy or Rest Quiet chips each is designed to influence, adjust and balance your body. Once that happens just like in TCM ( Traditional Chinese Medicine ) the body can better do what it was designed to do.

The holographic chip called PureRelief can help you with your discomfort from SHOULDER PAIN. And we accomplish it without any collateral damage!

Changing not only the way you think but the actions you take. Here’s to your health.
